About this coffee
We’ve all heard “you put the lime in the coconut,” but have you ever heard “you put the lime in the Dr. Pepper?” Well, there’s a first time for everything - just trust us on this one. Thankfully, this coffee from Burundi only has aspects that *remind* us of Dr. Pepper, like fruity sweetness of dried plums and subtle notes of spice. Lively medium acidity perfectly highlights the cherry and lime accents while its light to medium body accompanies a clean finish.
So, like we said it’s basically nothing like actually putting a lime in a Dr. Pepper, but now we effectively got that song stuck in your head, didn’t we? Mission accomplished. Don’t be mad and PLEASE don’t punish us by not trying this coffee - you’d really only be punishing yourself.
Yandaro is truly a flavor adventure that we’re excited to send you on and we encourage you to really put it to the test - do you have multiple brewing methods at home? Try ‘em all! Typically too impatient to try a coffee when it’s cooled? See how the flavors change as its temperature does. Yandaro has depth and complexity to share with you, so listen up (once you get “Put The Lime In The Coconut” out of your head, that is).
Cherry, Dr. Pepper, Lime
This coffee’s complexity really shines when filter brewed: we suggest the Chemex or Kalita Wave.
