About this coffee

Is anybody out there tired of new coffees? Good, neither are we! We’re excited to release another fully washed Ethiopian amongst a handful of our final coffees of 2017 - and we are going out with a bang!

We teamed up with Heleanna Georgalis of Moplaco, a force to be reckoned with in the processing, experimentation & exportation worlds of Ethiopian coffee since the 1970s. Georgalis is the third generation working with coffee in Ethiopia and with her wealth of experience comes an invaluable focus on traceable sourcing, which is seemingly impossible to find in Ethiopian coffee.

With dried fruit sweetness, classic Ethiopian floral qualities & the creaminess of milk chocolate, you will want to be sipping this coffee fireside during the winter months to come.

Expect the Matahara to be versatile and equally delicious from French Press to Aeropress, although we like it best in a Chemex or Kalita.

Tasting Notes

Apricot, Hibiscus, Milk Chocolate
