About this coffee

On our yearly adventure with delicious coffees from Wilford Lamastus in Panama, we are visited by two coffees from the Elida Estate Farm, one of which is this beauty. The washed sibling of this year’s duo from Elida Estate doesn’t demand attention, but you’d do well to give it.

As with most things subtle and soft spoken, you'll have to give the Elida Catuai time to reveal itself and come alive. But when you finally get to know this coffee, we trust you'll like her as much as we do (she's our BFF).

Though the washed Elida Estate is understated, this coffee's one show-stopping number is its striking acidity. Like perfectly sweet and caramelized orange, it bursts and turns backflips in your mouth. Melon acidity and delicate floral notes balance each other out in the most pleasant of ways. We love introducing friends to each other -- so, are you ready to meet your new best friend?

Tasting Notes

Burnt Orange, Melon, Floral

Brewing Recommendation

Brewing the Elida Estate in the Kalita perfectly balances the striking acidity and medium body of this coffee.
