About this coffee

We have seen many a washed Ethiopian coffees pass through our hollowed CREMA halls and you may be wondering, “Why another?”

We find so many lovely Ethiopian coffees that we just want to share them all with you. So, quit your whining! (Just kidding, you guys probably aren’t whining about new coffees. I just put that leading question into your thoughts up there so I could introduce this cool new coffee.)

The Aroresa has a lovely delicate Jasmine quality that we have rarely seen so prevalent in an Ethiopian coffee. This coffee is also from a different region (Sidamo) than they most well-known coffee growing region (Yirgacheffe).

This washed Ethiopian also boasts a juicy stone-fruit body and the sweetness of wildflower honey. We think it’s a great coffee to kick off this warmer weather since it tastes great both hot and iced.

Brewing Recommendation

We suggest filter brewing the Aroresa and are especially excited about this coffee in the Chemex, both hot and Japanese-style iced.
