You like parties, right?
What about after-parties?
On September 15, we’re hosting one of each.
You know about A Film About Coffee, the stunning and esteemed coffee documentary from director Brandon Loper. We’ll join with the Belcourt, and the entire Nashville coffee community to host a screening of the film on September 15.
We plan on scarfing popcorn out of Chemexes and guzzling sodas out of half-gallon carafes, all while viewing this groundbreaking documentary. (Won’t you join us? Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 22 at 10am!)
The fun doesn’t stop with Chemex-brewed popcorn, either:
CREMA is hosting a post-film after-party at the shop.
Though we’ll all be VIPs (very into popcorn), our true guests of honor will be our friends and coffee farmers, Miguel and Guillermo Menendez, from El Salvador.
After the film, CREMA will host a question-and-answer session with Miguel and Guillermo--they’ll field questions about everything coffee farming to how they got into the family business. We’ve talked frequently and glowingly about our relationships with the Menendez family, and we greatly admire their dedication to coffee, the earth, and their employees.
We can’t wait for you to get to peek behind the scenes, and see the faces that labor so lovingly for the coffee we serve at CREMA. This rare and eye-opening event is free to the public.
